Preparing for the Real World

So this is it...the day Barry Jahn said would come. It's time to put my skills, knowledge and experience to the test. I definitely remember the days when a job interview only required you to bring your resume and reference list. However, in today's technologically inclined job market, the resume and reference list can be delivered a number of ways.

In addition to those classic interview materials, a demonstration of skills is being integrated into applying for a job. With all the options out there, it is important to choose specific skills to highlight and the method of delivery you are comfortable with. Which ones do I choose? For my most recent adventure, I'm bringing along this blog, a powerpoint presentation, and a Word document. Simple. Classic. Collaborative.
